UFC on FOX 23 had a little something for everyone.
Epic knockouts, slick submissions, gritty, hard-fought decisions ... you name it, the "Shevchenko vs. Pena" mixed martial arts (MMA) extravaganza -- which took place last Sat. night (Jan. 28, 2017) inside Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado -- had it.
In the main event of the evening, Valentina Shevchenko punched her ticket to a women’s bantamweight title fight against division queenpin Amanda Nunes by submitting fellow top contender Julianna Pena.
And let's not forget about the big night for Jorge Masvidal and Francis Ngannou.
