Cody Garbrandt, TJ Dillashaw reveal assistant coaches for The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): 'Redemption'

MMA: UFC 207-Garbrandt vs Cruz Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Newly-crowned Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt will serve as one of the coaches for the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): "Redemption" opposite none other than former Team Alpha Male (TAM) stablemate, T.J.  Dillashaw (full details here).

The next installment of the mixed martial arts (MMA) "reality" television series will premiere with a two-hour episode on Weds., April 19, 2017, at 10 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1, but taping has already begun, as both Garbrandt and Dillashaw recently revealed their respective coaching staffs.

And it's no surprise that it’s a family affair, as "No Love" has enlisted his team at TAM to help out, as evidenced by this Instagram post courtesy of Urijah Faber:

From left to right his coaching staff comprises Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor Fabio Prado, Faber, boxing coach Robert Meese and Danny Castillo as his wrestling coach.

As for Dillashaw, he enlisted help from his new camp at Team Elevation to help defeat his former squad:

From left to right his assistants include wrestling guru Leister Bowling, head trainer Duane Ludwig, current Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight contender Matt Brown and Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor Eliot Marshall.

It will be an interesting environment to say the least, as both sides know each other very well. In a highly-publicized and ugly split, Ludwig left his post as head trainer of TAM after a falling out with Faber back in 2014. Soon thereafter, Dillashaw followed suit, joining "Bang" in Denver, Colo., after the two formed a great partnership during "The Viper’s" championship reign. Dillashaw's split from the famed camp was perhaps even uglier, as both sides fired verbal shots at each other throughout the ordeal.

Something that is still going on to this day.

Garbrandt and Dillashaw are expected to duke it out in the center of the Octagon for "No Love’s" 135-pound strap at the conclusion of the show. Assuming they can go through the whole season without putting hands on one another.

Kind of like this.
