UFC 207 results, recap, and link wrap up: Ronda Rousey, Dominick Cruz go down swinging

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, spent the past 12 months perseverating over her loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193. Then came her chance to purge that memory and recapture the division crown.

Instead, she got smashed by Amanda Nunes in just 48 seconds.

By that criteria, I'd say "Rowdy" will likely refer to 2016 as the worst year of her life. That makes me feel kinda guilty, considering 2016 was the best year of my life. It was sorta like Raiders of the Lost Ark meets Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

Hey, it's not the years, it's the mileage.

Also coming up short at the UFC 207 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which took place last Friday night (Dec. 30, 2016) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, was Dominick Cruz. Despite his usual (and wildly successful) bag of tricks, "Dominator" was outgunned by newly-crowned bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt.

Missed the event? Too hungover to remember what happened?

No worries, as we've gone ahead and compiled links to all of the top stories coming out of "Nunes vs. Rousey," including breaking news, highlights, reactions, results, recaps, and more, all conveniently laid out in the UFC 207 wrap-up post below.
