Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is making the most of its newfound legislation in “The Empire State,” recently announcing the UFC 210 pay-per-view (PPV) event for April 8, 2017 inside KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.

UFC announced the upcoming mixed martial arts (MMA) extravaganza during the UFC Fight Night 103 telecast last night (Sun., Jan. 15, 2017) on FOX Sports 1 (full results here), though potential match ups have yet to be revealed.

UFC 201 will mark the promotion’s fourth trip to New York, which started with UFC 205 back in December. UFC Fight Night 102 in Albany soon followed while UFC 208 in Brooklyn is just around the corner.

Buffalo hasn’t played host to a UFC event since Ken Shamrock battled Oleg Taktarov to a draw in the UFC 7 main event all the way back in late 1995. Cage fighting was banned soon thereafter, before eventually being overturned in May 2016.
