UFC Fight Night 103 bonuses: Yair Rodriguez banks extra $50,000 for BJ Penn beatdown

The dust has barely settled on UFC Fight Night 103, which means it's time to honor those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights last night (Sun., Jan. 15, 2017) inside Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to four of the 24 fighters on the Fox Sports 1 card. Among the men going home with an extra $50,000 in his pocket is Yair Rodriguez, who spoiled B.J. Penn’s long-awaited return to action with a highlight reel knockout win (watch video highlights here).

Also, Frankie Saenz and Augusto Mendes took home some extra cheese thanks to their thrilling, back-and-forth fight, while Aleksei Oleinik banked an extra $50,000 for his submission win via Ezekiel choke over Viktor Pesta (see it).

Again, each bonused fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which will likely be released later this week.
