Bellator 170: "Ortiz vs. Sonnen" comes to The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., on Jan. 21, 2017. The Spike TV-televised event will feature the in-ring Bellator debut of "The Bad Guy" Chael Sonnen against fellow former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter "Bad Boy" Tito Ortiz.
As the date and time of this mega card draws ever closer, the hype train keeps barreling down the tracks, and the next big stop will be Spike TV late tomorrow evening (Fri., Jan. 13, 2017). Indeed, tune in at 11:15 pm ET/PT or set your DVR so that you don't miss "Countdown to Ortiz vs. Sonnen." The one-hour special follows both fighters inside and outside of their fight camps, from their home lives to the gym -- a complete all access behind-the-scenes pass.
Friday's pre-Bellator 170 special also features company President Scott Coker, announcer Jimmy Smith, matchmaker Rich Chou, referee "Big" John McCarthy, fighter/analyst Brendan Schaub and Bryan Callen from "The Fighter & The Kid," and is narrated by Dana Jacobson.
