Embattled mixed martial arts (MMA) coach, Edmond Tarverdyan, was hopping mad after bulletproof referee Herb Dean halted the UFC 207 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, in which his rich prized pupil — former women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey — got crushed by current division titleholder Amanda Nunes.
But hey, it’s all good.
That’s a different angle of last month’s title fight presented by the UFC 207: “Thrill & Agony” video series on UFC Fight Pass, which also gives fight fans a closer look at Cody Garbrandt’s upset win over Dominick Cruz, one that earned “No Love” the 135-pound title.
Now that Nunes is (still) the champ, the promotion will be forced to market her (for once). The first step toward that goal is giving “Lioness” extended screen time in the video above, as “Lioness” celebrates her latest victory with a champagne toast.
Along with a “dirty” cameo from NFL legend and former Cowboy Michael Irvin.
