Ronda Rousey forced to ‘rebuild her life’ after hitting ‘rock bottom’

MMA: UFC 207-Nunes vs Rousey Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Anyone who ever watched SpongeBob Squarepants will attest that Rock Bottom really isn’t that bad of a place, assuming you can decipher that convoluted bus schedule.

That’s where former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is headed after suffering her second straight knockout loss. I know that because “Rowdy” posted one of her now-infamous cryptic tweets for the world to decipher.

Have a look:

Paging Robert Langdon...

Rousey was smashed by current 135-pound queenpin Amanda Nunes in the UFC 207 pay-per-view (PPV) main event last month in Las Vegas, Nevada, her first bout since Holly Holm took her to the woodshed at UFC 193.

An 0-2 hole may not constitute rock bottom for most combat sports athletes, but it’s certainly a far cry from the 12-0 fighter who blew through the women’s bantamweight division and made herself larger than life.

Hopefully the rebuilding process involves changes here and here.
