With C.M. Punk making his professional mixed martial arts (MMA) debut tomorrow (Sat., Sept. 10, 2016) at UFC 203 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, there's little to no footage fight fans can look back at leading up to his anticipated tilt with Mickey Gall. It's part of the mystery and uncertainty that follows Punk's Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) crossover.
Fortunately, the rest of UFC 203's main card combatants have plenty of videotape to roll through. Prominent MMA figures like current UFC Heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, world-renowned striker Alistair Overeem, four-time UFC title challenger Urijah Faber, Heavyweight knockout artist Travis Browne and former UFC Heavyweight king Fabricio Werdum, have been roaming the UFC hallways for years now and have produced some of the best finishes you'll find inside of the famed Octagon.
In the above video, courtesy of UFC, we take a deeper look at UFC 203's top five main card finishes, featuring one-punch knockouts, standing submissions and a superman punch from hell. Hopefully this sort of action will spill into Quicken Loans Arena tomorrow in Cleveland.
And who knows? Maybe Punk will be on one of these highlight videos one day.
