Oh, it's happening.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight champion Conor McGregor and Lightweight kingpin, Eddie Alvarez, came face-to-face for the first time earlier today during the UFC 205 press conference (video replay here) to promote their upcoming 155-pound title fight, which is set to go down inside Madison Square Garden on Nov, 12, 2016 in New York.
The promotion announced the "super fight" late last night, upsetting Khabib Nurmagomedov and Jose Aldo in the process.
UFC president Dana White has already stated that "Notorious" will have to give up one of his titles should he become the first-ever fighter on the UFC roster to hold two belts simultaneously, thought the mouthy Irishman declared it would take an army to take one of his belts away.
Also, co-headliners Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson bumped bridges in "The Big Apple" ahead of their Welterweight title fight, as did Joanna Jędrzejczyk and Karolina Kowalkiewicz ahead of their Strawweight championship bout.
