Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will send a pair of heavyweight titans into battle when Roy Nelson tangles with Antonio Silva at the upcoming UFC Fight Night 95 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on FOX Sports 1, which takes place tonight (Sat., Sept. 24, 2016) inside Ginasio Nislon Nelson in Brasilia, Brazil.
Nelson (21-13) is coming off a split-decision loss to fellow 265-pound power puncher Derrick Lewis at UFC Fight Night 90. Prior to that, the 40-year-old "Big Country" outpointed Jared Rosholt at UFC Fight Night 82 to snap a dreadful three-fight losing streak.
Silva (19-9-1) has just one victory since 2013, which came at the expense of Soa Palelei in Australia. "Bigfoot," who turned 37 earlier this month, has been knocked out in five consecutive losses, raising serious questions about his longevity in combat sports.
