Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is beefing up its UFC Fight Night 101 fight card with the addition of a pair of middleweight bouts featuring Derek Brunson vs. Robert Whittaker and Chris Camozzi vs. Daniel Kelly for Nov. 27, 2016 inside Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
The event airs Nov. 26 in United States due to the discrepancy in time zones.
Brunson (16-3) is fresh off his technical knockout win over Uriah Hall at the UFC Fight Night 94 event last weekend in Hidalgo, Texas. It was his fifth victory in a row, which is the same as Whittaker (16-4) has after outworking Rafael Natal last April.
That's not all.
Camozzi (21-1) earned his way back to the big show after a string of significant wins on the regional circuit. Unfortunately, that came to an end by way Rafael Natal submission last April. Kelly (11--1) suffered the first loss of his professional areer after getting stopped by San Avery.
Good stuff.
No other fights have been arranged wth the exception of Luke Rockhold vs, Michael Bisping. exception of the UFC's return to Shelboune, you can expect that to change in the coming weeks, if not days.
