After knocking out Dustin Poirier in the main event of UFC Fight Night 94 last night (Sat., Sept. 10, 2016) in Hidalgo, Texas (see it again here), Michael Johnson was immediately called out by former Lightweight champion Anthony Pettis via Twitter.

Once he caught wind of the callout, Johnson was quick to remind everyone it was he that called out "Showtime" long ago. that said, he is more than willing to take him on (via UFC on Fox Sports).
"If Anthony Pettis fights 55, he dropped to 45 didn't he? I'm pretty sure I called him out a long time ago and he went down to 145 pounds. But if he wants to fight, Anthony, I'm you're man, I'm all for it. He's a great ex-champ and a great guy and I would love to fight him."
Of course, Anthony's first choice would be an interim featherweight title fight against Jose Aldo, after the champ called him out, much to the chagrin of Max Holloway.
But, should that fight not be made, Pettis -- who made a successful drop to 145 pounds against Charles Oliveira a few weeks ago -- is willing to pack on the pounds to return to the division he once ruled.
Anyone oppose?
