UFC 203 bonuses: Stipe Miocic, Alistair Overeem leave Cleveland with $50,000 extra

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

It was an evening of weird Octagon occurrences and one-sided beatdowns, but UFC 203 last night (Sat., Sept. 10, 2016) live on pay-per-view (PPV) inside Quicken Loans Arena from Cleveland, Ohio, delivered on arrival. While current Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight king Stipe Miocic cashed in on his first title defense in front of his hometown by knocking out Alistair Overeem in devastating fashion, former professional wrestler C.M. Punk didn't have similar luck inside of the cage, losing his mixed martial arts (MMA) debut to Mickey Gall via first-round submission.

In order to sift through the action, which included suffocating submissions, brutal knockouts, a dislocated finger and hard-fought decisions that filled both the powerful main card and unassuming preliminary bouts, we take a closer look at which fighters left Ohio with an extra $50,000 in their pockets.
