In the first "Prelims" undercard bout on FOX Sports 1 tonight (Sat., Sept. 10, 2016) at UFC 203 live from Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland Ohio, Lightweight powerhouse Drew Dober welcomed promotional newcomer Jason Gonzalez to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Octagon. Gonzalez, 26, had a brief stint on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) and had finished all 10 of his career victories entering UFC 203.
After brief exchanges and a low blow suffered by Gonzalez, Dober rushed in on the youngster, landed crippling combinations in transit, launched a final right hand that slumped Gonzalez against the cage and captured the first-round TKO finish. Gonzalez looked solid at times, but he couldn't stomach the power that Dober was slinging.

With this win, Dober secures his second-straight win in 2016. At just 27 years of age, he's evolving nicely in a 155-pound division that demands perennial success and memorable finishes. With tremendous power in all of his strikes, Dober could very well go on a knockout streak in 2017.
