Considering former WWE superstar CM Punk had zero mixed martial arts (MMA) training under his belt before walking through Duke Roufus' door, the 37-year-old had to play a lot of catch-up leading into his debut bout with Mickey Gall at UFC 203 later today (Sat., Sept. 10, 2016) live on pay-per-view (PPV) from Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. As a result, Punk was thrust into the most grueling few months he'll ever experience.
Prior to stepping inside the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Octagon for the very first time, Punk reflected on one of the more memorable moments of training camp with Roufus. However, the above video, titled "Call of Doodie" and courtesy of UFC, got an animated twist compliments of The Chive. Punk has been an open book this whole time in regards to the things he has experienced along the journey of crossing over from professional wrestling, but this is something he probably should have kept to himself.
UFC 203 will be headlined by a heavyweight title fight between current UFC champion Stipe Miocic and top contender Alistair Overeem, as well as featuring a co-main event rematch between heavyweights Fabricio Werdum and Travis Browne.
