Conor McGregor celebrated three years of employment with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) yesterday (Aug. 6, 2016).
In true "Notorious" fashion, the Irishman took to Twitter to call out the ungrateful bums who haven't taken the time to thank him for changing the game and their fight purses. That Tweet was instantly deleted, though Inquisiter was able to get the text.
"3 years ago today, I began my crusade to take all you bums from 5 figure paydays to multi seven figure paydays. And not even a thank you."
McGregor didn't do himself any favors with the WWE fan base after he Brock Lesnar and CM punk, calling them a "bunch of WWE pussies" that have yet to prove their worth inside the Octagon or have to be "juiced to the eyeballs" to win a fight.
He also went on to slam the entire roster sans the McMahon family, The Rock and Triple H, by declaring that apart from those "dons," the remaining athletes are "messed up pussies."
That said, Conor clarified his remarks in a separate tweet:
I didn't mean no disrespect to the @wwe fans. What I meant to say was that I'd slap the head off your entire roster. And twice on Sunday's.— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) August 7, 2016
Conor is set to make his much-anticipated return to the Octagon on Aug. 20, 2016 to rematch Nate Diaz in the main event of UFC 202 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Needles to say, he won' have WWE fans cheering for him.
