I hope Jadyson Costa has better luck with his takedown attempt in the actual fight, as the one he used to try to upend Don Madge ahead of their Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC) 52 battle tomorrow night (Fri., Aug. 5, 2016) in Cape Town, South Africa, was stuffed like a baked potato.
It was still good enough to facilitate a pull-apart brawl, which is always fun.

Sure, it was no Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier (relive that madness here), but for the international circuit, it wasn't bad. That said, I'm still trying to understand what happened during the staredown that prompted Costa to shoot for a takedown.
Back in my day, you two-handed your opponent and moved on. In the EFC 52 co-main event, "Champion" Dalcha Lungiambula collides with Tumelo "The Truck" Naphtha for the light heavyweight title.
