World Series of Fighting (WSOF) 33: "Gaethje vs. Dugulubgov" comes to Kansas City Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo., on Oct. 7, 2016, featuring a main event between undefeated Lightweight champion Justin Gaethje defending his title against Ozzy Dugulubgov.
The card has now expanded to a six-fight showcase that will air live on NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) starting at 11 p.m. ET (8 p.m. PT). Indeed, WSOF 33 will now feature two world title fights and bouts spanning several different weight classes.
The co-main event will see dual weight class champion David Branch (16-3) putting his Light Heavyweight title on the line against accomplished fighter and multiple time world Brazilian jiu-jitsu champion Vinny Magalhaes (14-7). Two Lightweight bouts will accompany them on the main card -- Brian Foster (25-9) vs. Luiz "Buscape" Firmino (19-6), are Jason "The Kansas City Bandit" High (19-5) vs. Joao "The Brazilian Samurai" Zeferino (20-8).
In addition experienced UFC Welterweight John "Doomsday" Howard (24-12) will take his second WSOF fight against against winner of four straight Abubakar Nurmagomedov (12-1-1), while new Heavyweight signees Shawn "The Savage" Jordan (18-7) and Ashley "Gio" Gooch (10-4) will also throw down.
