In the only female fight at UFC on FOX 21 tonight (Sat., Aug. 27, 2016), which took place inside Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, women's Strawweight standout Paige VanZant made a successful return to the cage after defeating veteran Bec Rawlings with a destructive second-round flying switch kick knockout. The finish was unlike anything we've ever seen from "12 Gauge," but something that culminated after a strategic gameplan chock-full of distance control and in-and-out attacks.

With this victory, VanZant moves right back into the title discussion at 115 pounds. As one of the most popular female fighters in the sport today, UFC would be ill-advised to not strike while the iron is hot and push her further up the Strawweight ladder than ever before.
