UFC on FOX 21’s Paige VanZant now 'cool' with Ronda Rousey after unfortunate confrontation

It seems as though the beef has been squashed between former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s Bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, and Strawweight contender, Paige VanZant. According to "12 Gauge," after Rousey cussed her out last year because she congratulated Holly Holm for knocking out "Rowdy" at UFC 193 (see it), the tension between the two ladies has apparently softened.

In fact, VanZant recently revealed to TMZ that she respects Rousey more after diving into her book, "My Fight / Your Fight," and reading all about her struggles before getting on a straight and unmatched path to mixed martial arts (MMA) greatness. However, VanZant admits the two talented ladies haven’t actually spoke since their heated incident, but there seems to be a mutual understanding between them and they are now "cool."

Whatever works.

For now, there are no immediate plans in motion for Rousey to return to the Octagon. As for VanZant, she is due up this weekend (Sat. Aug., 27, 2016) to fight Bec Rawlings at UFC on FOX 21 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. For more details on that fight click here.
