Audio: Here's the 'racist' remark that has one UFC fighter in hot water

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) newcomer Mike Perry made a big impression with his knockout win at UFC 202.

And his cornerman, UFC middleweight Alex Nicholson, may have just overshadowed it with his even bigger mouth.

Perry, who smashed veteran welterweight Hyun Gyu Lim last Saturday night (Aug. 20, 2016) in Las Vegas, Nevada, is probably going to have a few words with his team after a video deemed "racist" by some of the combat sports media outlets went viral.

"That’s your post-winner dinner. He’s got nothing for you, Mike. He can’t even open his motherfucking eyes, boy."

It's hard to know the intent based on such a short clip, but it's easy to see why some folks are up in arms (Lim is Korean).

The win improved Perry to 8-0 with all eight of his wins coming by way of knockout or technical knockout. "Platinum" is likely to face a step up in competition after last weekend's highlight-reel finish.
