Donald Cerrone continued his assault on the Welterweight division at UFC 202 last night (Sat., Aug. 20, 2016) in Las Vegas, Nevada, knocking out Rick Story in the second round. Prior to connecting with a beautiful combination to put an end to the bout, "Cowboy" picked apart "The Horror" with his excellent stand up skills that have long been a trademark for the Jackson-Winkeljohn fighter. After connecting with a crushing blow to the body, Cerrone proceeded to clip Story -- who was buckled over in agony at the time -- with a direct head kick that set up the eventual finish. From there, it was all downhill for Story, who can thank the official on duty for stopping the bout and preventing additional punishment. "Cowboy" gonna' "Cowboy." With his eyes now on a Lightweight title fight against Eddie Alvarez -- a man he has a win over -- Cerrone has proven once again that he can hang with anyone at either 155 or 170 pounds.
