Nick Diaz: Somebody drugged me before Georges St-Pierre fight (Video)

Maybe he drugged himself?

Nick Diaz served his drug test suspension from Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) and is expected to make his mixed martial arts (MMA) return later this year. So, as you might expect from one of the biggest personalities in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the combat sports media was in a big hurry to chat with the former Strikeforce welterweight champion.

And he did not disappoint.

Though his feud with Georges St-Pierre ended back in 2013, the Stockton slugger is still miffed over the "Canadian Loophole" that allowed "Rush" to circumvent the required limit for championship title fights. While all signs point to ancient aliens, Diaz believes he was drugged before the fight.

"When I fought Georges St-Pierre in Canada, first of all, somebody freaking drugged me. That guy didn't make weight. The commission comes up to me and tells me he's not going to make weight, and whether it was a pound or not a pound, it doesn't matter. In Las Vegas, if the fight had been where it should've been, they would've not only drug tested us, but there's no pound allowance so he would've had to make his full weight."

While Diaz has not seen the win column in several years, his star power could be enough to vault him into a potential welterweight title fight against Tyron Woodley. Then again, he may have to take a back seat to St-Pierre, who also wants to be the new "Chosen One."
