The biggest rematch in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) history is almost upon us, as Conor McGregor will lock horns with Nate Diaz at UFC 202 on Aug. 20 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their initial meeting at UFC 196 this past March saw Diaz outwork a tired McGregor on the feet before submitting the Irishman via second-round rear naked choke.
As McGregor and Diaz gear up for their highly-anticipated reboot at UFC 202, both superstars will have to improve on their efforts from UFC 196 in order to leave Las Vegas a winner. For McGregor, this means pacing himself offensively in order to be effective beyond the first round. As the quicker, more athletic and more versatile fighter, "Notorious" will have the tools to throw Diaz for a loop on Aug. 20. But considering McGregor is giving up size and strength, he must intelligently go about his business.
In order to shed some light on this matchup, mixed martial arts (MMA) pundit Robin Black sets some time aside to break down McGregor ahead of UFC 202 (shown above, courtesy of UFC). As always, Black delivers great material, especially when it comes to the Irishman's setups on the feet.
