UFC 202 video: Conor McGregor full press day archive

In many regards, mixed martial arts (MMA) revolves around Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Conor McGregor. The world of MMA, including its fighters and fan base, tirelessly hang on every word that comes out of the Irishman's mouth. Considering McGregor usually spews gold, can you blame them?

That's why the MMA universe was all hands on deck yesterday (Fri., Aug. 12, 2016) for McGregor's UFC 202 press day from his gym in Las Vegas, Nevada. With his rematch against Nate Diaz at UFC 202 on Aug. 20 live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas just one week away, the 28-year-old Featherweight champion got some things off his chest while the microphones were hot.

In the above archive video (courtesy of UFC), McGregor talks about the following and more:

- Nate Diaz as an opponent

- Feud with WWE's Ric Flair and company

- Helping form a fighter's union

- Potential superfight with Floyd Mayweather

- Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar's failed United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) tests

- Expanding the UFC Gym brand in Europe

- The construction of his new gym in Vegas

- What comes next after UFC 202

In classic McGregor form, he didn't waver on any question. The MMA megastar dug his feet in, stayed longer than expected to answers media inquiries and pulled no punches when talking about PED users, John Cena, Diaz, Frankie Edgar, "dweeb" wrestlers and more.
