Alexa Grasso vs. Heather Jo Clark set for TUF: 'Latin America' Finale in Mexico on Nov. 5

Esther Lin/Invicta

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) strawweight division just got a bit more crowded , as Alexa Grasso has been set to make her Octagon debut on November 5, 2016 at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): ‘Latin America’ Finale in Mexico City, Mexico against Heather Jo Clark.

The undefeated (8-0) Mexican star was last seen beating the brakes of Jodie Esquibel at Invicta FC 18 a few weeks ago to earn her eighth straight victory; fourth under the all-women’s league mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion.

Clark, meanwhile, is coming off a unanimous decision loss to top 125-pound contender, Karolina Kowalkiewicz at UFC Fight Night 87 last May.

A native of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Grasso will add some local flavor to the Fox Sports 1 card which will be headlined by an intriguing lightweight scrap that will see Tony Ferguson go for his eighth straight win against former division champion, Rafael dos Anjos.

More on that here.

Also on the card, Beneil Dariush meets the streaking Rashid Magomedov in Lightweight action. Keep it tuned to MMA Mania as more fights for the Fox Sports 1 event are announced.
