UFC 204 — which is expected to go down on Oct. 8, 2016, in Manchester, England -- is starting to shape up nicely, as an intriguing Bantamweight bout between Brad Pickett and Iuri Alcantara has been added to the pay-per-view (PPV) event according to MMA Fighting.
Pickett was last seen edging out Francisco Rivera at UFC Fight Night 84 this past February via split decision in London, England. As for Alcantara, he was on the wrong end of a unanimous decision loss to Jimmie Rivera at UFC on FOX 18 this past January. The loss was the Brazilian’s second in his previous three outings.
Now, the two men will look to score an all-important "W" this October.
UFC 204 will be headlined by a Middleweight title fight, as division king Michael Bisping will defend his belt for the first time against Dan Henderson. Also on the card, Ovince Saint Preux and Jimi Manuwa square off in what is sure-to-be an entertaining Light Heavyweight scrap, while Stefan Struve returns to face Ruslam Magomedov in Heavyweight action.
