With UFC 201 in the rear-view mirror -- full results here -- Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is all set to stage its next pay-per-view (PPV) event.
And it's a big one.
UFC 202 is locked and loaded for T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sat., Aug., 20, 2016 and will feature a much-anticipated welterweight rematch between current featherweight champion Conor McGregor and lightweight standout Nate Diaz.
Diaz stopped Conor's momentum earlier this year at UFC 196, submitting the Irishman in Las Vegas, Nevada. And since Conor gets what Conor wants, he urged UFC matchmakers for a rematch, which was initially booked for UFC 200 on July 9, 2016.
But we all know what happened with those plans.
Now, the fight is once again official and McGregor will look to get one back on the only man to defeat him inside the Octagon.
In the co-main event, Glover Teixiera and Anthony Johnson collide in a light heavyweight showdown for a chance at the division strap currently in the grasp of Daniel Cormier. Plus, Donald Cerrone continues his assault in the 170-pound division against Rick Story.
To get you pumped for the event, UFC released an extended video preview highlighting the event, which is sure to be can't-miss TV.
