Kevin Ferguson Jr., son to the late combat sports sensation "Kimbo Slice," will make his mixed martial arts (MMA) debut at the upcoming Bellator 160: "Henderson vs. Pitbull" event on Aug. 26, 2016, inside Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., on Spike TV.
His welterweight opponent will be Johnny Tomasian, also making his pro debut in "The Heart of Orange County," according to MMA Junkie.
"I was always around the fight business and everything, so I saw it and I understood what was going on," Ferguson told the Associated Press. "I just knew without a doubt that one day, this was what I wanted to do."
"Baby Slice" was 1-0 as an amateur with one knockout.
Bellator 160 will be headlined by the lightweight feature fight pitting Ben Henderson opposite Patricio Freire, with the winner moving on to fight for the 155-pound title. Elsewhere on the card, Bubba Jenkins and Georgi Karakhanyan rematch in featherweight action.
