The latest World Series of Fighting (WSOF) card "Moraes vs. Hill 2" took place last night (Sat., July 30, 2016) in Everett, Wash., inside Xfinity Arena. Two title fight rematches headlined the show -- Alexandre Almeida vs. Lance Palmer at Featherweight and Marlon Moraes vs. Josh Hill at Bantamweight.
The co-main event was certainly a noteworthy affair as the former champion Palmer was able to recapture the title in a grueling five round affair with Almeida, overcoming the height and weight difference with leg kicks, body shots and left hooks.
However, the main event delivered fireworks.
Looking to make yet another statement in the Bantamweight division he's dominated since coming to WSOF, Moraes faced down a man who took him to five rounds in their first fight ... and didn't let it last half as long. In fact, 37 seconds into the second round Moraes finished it with the head kick seen here, leaving Hill frozen and defenseless to prompt an immediate end to the fight and signal Moraes' fourth successful defense of the Bantamweight title.
