Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will tonight begin its march toward a tricentennial pay-per-view (PPV) event with "Lawler vs. Woodley," which will take place TONIGHT (Sat., July 30, 2016) inside Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. In UFC 201’s main event of the evening, Welterweight champion Robbie Lawler will return from a self-imposed six month hiatus to battle No. 4-ranked contender Tyron Woodley.

Flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson was expected to compete in the co-main event opposite Wilson Reis until an undisclosed injury forced him off the card. As a result, the women’s Strawweight scrap between Rose Namajunas vs. Karolina Kowalkiewicz was promoted to the co-featured fight of the night. The winner will likely earn the next opportunity to challenge 115-pound queenpin, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, later this year.

Because UFC scheduled so many bouts during its recent "International Fight Week" earlier this month, the cupboard of talent and meaningful matches tonight is a bit thin. Nonetheless, there are several fun bouts that should keep fight fans entertained for hours.
