NSAC reveals banned substance Jon Jones tested positive for ahead of UFC 200

Chael Sonnen with another "I told you so" moment.

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was bounced from his UFC 200 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, after blowing up a pre-fight drug test from United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) back in June.

See how that disaster unfolded here.

While the substance that returned positive was not specified, it was learned today during the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) that Jones was tainted with anti-estrogen substances (hydroxy-clomiphene), because moobs is never a good look on an adult male.

Jones, who is temporarily suspended from mixed martial arts (MMA), could face two years on the bench.

In his absence, Daniel Cormier went on to capture a unanimous decision win over Anderson Silva, who filled in for "Bones" on the UFC 200 main card. As far as the interim title, that's likely to go by the wayside until a final ruling is made from NSAC this fall.
