UFC 200 finally unfolded last night (Sat., July 9, 2016) live on pay-per-view (PPV) from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. But, before the main card began a stacked "Prelims" undercard went down on FOX Sports 1 (FS1).
In a matchup of hopeful Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweights, former divisional king Johny Hendricks attempted to get back into the win column with a victory over former TUF winner Kelvin Gastelum.
While Hendricks was able to land some good shots and put pressure on Gastelum in the second round, Gastelum was simply too active and aggressive for "Bigg Rigg" to handle. Gastelum pressed the veteran from the opening bell, earning the fairly one-sided unanimous decision victory. It was one of his most impressive performances to date.

With the victory, Gastelum moves up the divisional ladder and inches closer to title contention. As for Hendricks, this loss will set him back even further entering 2017.
