Submission! Miesha Tate vs Amanda Nunes full fight video highlights from UFC 200 last night

UFC 200 finally unfolded last night (Sat., July 9, 2016) live on pay-per-view (PPV) from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the main event of the evening, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's Bantamweight champion Miesha Tate looked to defend her 135-pound title for the first time ever against powerful striker Amanda Nunes.

It didn't take long for the Brazilian knockout artist to ward off Tate's takedowns, land punishing combinations from distance and nearly knock the nose off of "Cupcake." Tate tried to push through the adversity, but Nunes was too strong and persistent. The challenger claimed ultimate glory, capturing the first-round finish and earning the right to call herself champion.

With a Ronda Rousey comeback looming in the distance, as well as Holly Holm being one win away from another title shot, anything is possible in the women's Bantamweight division. But, if and when anything goes down, you better believe it will involve Nunes.

As for Tate, this is a tough one to swallow. She'll have to look at the tape to figure out the reason(s) she was so over matched on the feet.
