Paige VanZant at SummerSlam 2016? WWE courting UFC star for pro wrestling appearance

You scratch my back, I scratch yours.

Paige VanZant's star just keeps getting brighter, as FOX Sports brings word that World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is looking to acquire her services for an appearance at the upcoming SummerSlam event, which is slated to go down on Aug. 21, 2016 in New York.

According to her manager Mike Roberts of MMA Inc., WWE has reached out about having "12 Gauge" take part in the annual extravaganza, though no further details were given. Paige is coming off an excellent run on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," coming in second place despite earning countless perfect scores and pretty much dancing everyone off the floor.

Nevertheless, "PVZ" isn't losing any sleep, as countless of opportunities have been knocking at her door, including an acting role in the upcoming "Kickboxer" sequel with Jean-Claude Van Damme (details here).

And with WWE now taking notice of UFC's new "it" girl, you can bet your bottom dollar more ventures outside of the Octagon will be coming her way.

UFC is no stranger to allowing its stars to crossover to WWE (for one night only), as former women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey made a cameo at WrestleMania 31 back in 2015 alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

See that here.

Plus, after Vince McMahon granted Brock Lesnar a "one-off" opportunity to return to the Octagon to face Mark Hunt at the upcoming UFC 200 pay-per-view (PPV) event on July 9, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada, it's safe to assume Dana White and Co. will do the same with VanZant.

Just don't expect the 22-year old to leave here UFC duties behind, as she is determined to keep doing her thing inside the eight-walled cage after signing a new contract extension just nine months ago.
