Flip a coin!
Thanks to his second-round submission win over Conor McGregor at the UFC 196 pay-per-view (PPV) event earlier this year in Las Vegas, Nevada, Nate Diaz opened as even money for their welterweight rematch at UFC 202, recently announced for Aug. 20, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada (more on that here).
The current line is Diaz at -115 vs. McGregor at -115, according to 5Dimes.
That's a far cry from the 4-to-1 odds bookmakers were offering for their initial go-round, which really isn't that surprising when you consider that Diaz was stepping in on short notice while McGregor was tearing through the competition unabated.
A lot of questions about the future of both combatants will be answered this summer, but you can bet there are no losers when you consider what the payout is likely to be (on both sides).
