No. 1 contender? Max Holloway vs Ricardo Lamas full fight video highlights from UFC 199 last night

Hawaiian striker Max Holloway solidified his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight worth by defeating former title challenger Ricardo Lamas via unanimous decision last night (Sat., June 4, 2016) at UFC 199 live on pay-per-view from The Forum in Inglewood, California.

Despite Lamas' efforts late into the fight, Holloway was simply too sharp for the rest of the bout, hurting "The Bully" with spinning head kicks, combinations to the head and body, and demonstrating a chin that just won't quit.

The full video highlights can be seen above.

This victory further proves that "Blessed" is ready to challenge for a 145-pound title right now since evolving as a serious out in the division after losing to current champion Conor McGregor back at UFC Fight Night 26.

The 24-year-old extends his win streak to an astonishing nine in a row. His striking has developed nicely throughout the years and could certainly battle McGregor in a rematch.
