In case you planned on wagering on the UFC 199 main event (latest odds here), which features a five-round championship showdown between middleweight kingpin Luke Rockhold and perennial 185-pound contender Michael Bisping, the champ has some new information to consider before plunking down those coins.
While also delivering a little message to Bisping at the UFC 199 presser (via MMA Fighting):
"I've been dealing with a knee injury. I'm not gonna lie. This whole camp, but I don't pull out of fights. I fight through injuries. I don't care what the circumstances are. I tore my MCL. I haven't grappled this whole camp. I just started kicking last week. I don't need a knee. I don't even need to walk. I'll crawl in that cage and I'll still whoop your ass. Watch."
Subtle dig at this guy?
Athletic commissions typically frown on fighters competing while injured, but that's between Rockhold and the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC). "Rockhold vs. Bisping 2" takes place this Saturday night (June 4, 2016) inside The Forum in Los Angeles, California.
