The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) combat sports reality show is rolling right along with season 23 on FOX Sports 1, coached by Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and division No. 1 contender Claudia Gadelha.

But don't expect Coach Jedrzejczyk to be tuning in each week, because she understood very early on that not much reality makes it into reality television, while also cautioning mixed martial arts (MMA) fans to not believe everything they see.
From her conversation with SiriusXM Fight Club (via MMA Fighting):
"I don't watch TUF. I don't watch it because I don't like how they show me... I know the stories, I know the things which happened so I'm not watching because what I saw in the first two episodes I wasn't happy with that so I'm not watching this. I heard every day that I'm a very good coach, that I'm a very good partner for my teammates and for my fighters but they show on TV that I'm a bad person but I'm not. So that's why I'm not watching this. People just see tense situations in the TUF program. They can see that I am bully but it wasn't like that. Don't trust everything you see on TV."
Jedrzejczyk (11-0) took a split decision from the Brazilian in late 2014, then went on to capture the 115-pound crown from Carla Esparza the following May. Since then, "Joanna Champion" made a pair of successful title defenses against Jessica Penne and Valerie Letourneau.
Gadelha (13-1), meanwhile, has been on a mission to prove she won her first go-round with Jedrzejczyk, the only loss on her professional record. Injuries, however, limited her ability to compete on a regular basis. "Claudinha" was last seen knocking around World Series of Fighting (WSOF) import Jessica Aguilar back in August.
They'll settle their score in the live TUF 23 Finale on July 8, 2016 inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada (see the current fight card and line up here).
