Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight phenom Sage Northcutt, despite his "fluke" loss to Bryan Barberena his last time out, has landed a solo sponsorship deal with Reebok, the sports and apparel giant charged with paying UFC fighters to wear its crap during fight week.
From Twitter:
So pumped to announce that I've officially signed with @Reebok. #TeamReebok pic.twitter.com/YO7hF4oTrV

It should be noted Paige VanZant, Conor McGregor, and Ronda Rousey also signed solo deals with Reebok and well ... let's just say things didn't exactly work out for them in subsequent fights, but we'll leave that whole "curse" thing to the EA Sports UFC video game.
Besides, someone is probably feeling too "Super" to care.
@Reebok Reebok is Awesome! I'm glad to be part of the team

Though not everyone is agog with the new deal, based on this reaction from ex-UFC lightweight Ramsey Nijem.
@sagenorthcutt @Reebok who were you with before? Reebok lol get signed after a loss. Do you think it's bc you're a good fighter?

Nijem walked away from UFC last October.
Northcutt, meanwhile, returns to action against Enrique Marin at the upcoming UFC 200 pay-per-view (PPV) event next month in Las Vegas, Nevada.
