Bellator 157: "Dynamite 2" came to Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo. Friday night (June 24, 2016). The Bellator MMA main event was a highly anticipated showdown between Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and judo gold medalist Satoshi Ishii.
After the conclusion of the scheduled Bellator Kickboxing and mixed martial arts (MMA) fights, Bellator held a post-fight press conference with stars from both the cage and the ring who had been featured on Spike TV.
The press event featured Bellator President Scott Coker, Senior Vice President of Sports Jon Slusser, the aforementioned Jackson, new Lightweight champion Michael Chandler, Heavyweight knockout artist Matt Mitrione, Ilima-Lei Macfarlane, Kevin Ross, Hisaki Kato, and the legendary Raymond Daniels.
Coker was very pleased with how things went in St. Louis:
"Tonight really it was a long night but I felt like the fights delivered. When I think of the term 'Dynamite' I think that this event was dynamite. I think the production looked great, the fights were great, we had some great knockouts, some technical fights, we had it all so I'm very happy about the way this even turned out."
