The action started early tonight (Fri., June 24, 2016) at Bellator 157: "Dynamite 2" live on Spike TV from Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
Before Quinton Jackson stepped inside the cage against Olympic gold medalist Satoshi Ishii in the main event, former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight knockout artist Matt Mitrione made his promotional debut opposite Carl Seumanutafa.
Mitrione (10-5), better known by his moniker "Meathead," narrowly escaped defeat at the heavy hands of Seumanutafa. After taking on some considerable punishment to begin the first round, Mitrione found his timing and launched a furious right hand from top position that left Seumanutafa splattered on the canvas.
