Cleveland Cavaliers did the impossible and defeated the Golden State Warriors (4-3) last Sunday night (June 19, 2016) in Oakland, Calif.,, despite being down three games to one in the NBA finals.
To the victor belong the spoils.
That includes a massive celebration in "C-Town," and right there with them every step of the way was newly-crowned UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic -- himself a Clevelander -- who knows a thing or two about hometown pride (see his welcoming committee here).
But this day belongs to the cagers:
Miocic will make his first-ever title defense against top 265-pound contender Alistair Overeem at the upcoming UFC 203 pay-per-view (PPV) event inside Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, on Sept. 10, 2016 (details here).
Anyone expecting a victory parade in Amsterdam?
