Miesha Tate continues to be the belle of the ball after claiming the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight title at UFC 196 by choking out Holly Holm (see it).
And one of the many duties as champion is endless media obligations, such as serving as Grand Marshal for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Firekeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway and appearing on Good Morning America.
Tate's latest obligation was an appearance on Access Hollywood to talk with hosts Dean Cain and Kit Hoover about all things mixed martial arts (MMA).
Among the things she discussed were her early days of wrestling in high school, accepting her "Cupcake" nickname, and why her boyfriend and current top UFC bantamweight contender Bryan Caraway tried to persuade her against pursing a mixed martial arts (MMA) career.
Fortunately for us, she didn't listen.
Tate will look to defend her title for the first time when she faces Amanda Nunes at UFC 200 on July 9, 2016 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
