WSOF 31: John Howard vs Mike Arrant set for June 17 with Thiago Meller hurt

World Series of Fighting (WSOF) was forced to make a last-minute switcheroo after Thiago Meller withdrew from this Friday night's (June 17, 2016) line up, which takes place on NBCSN inside Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut.

Taking his place against welterweight opponent John "Doomsday" Howard (23-12) is "Mad" Mike Arrant (15-10); however, the short notice bout moves their contest to middleweight (185 pounds) to avoid any dangerous situations at Thursday's weigh ins.

That's not all.

Undefeated Marcus Surin (3-0) will replace Sam Watford in a lightweight (155 pounds) showdown against Christian "The Terminator" Torres (0-0) on the WSOF preliminary card, which streams live on WSOF.com.
