UFC Fight Night 87 bonuses: Alistair Overeem, Stefan Struve collect $50,000 checks for knockout victories

An exciting UFC Fight Night 87: "Overeem vs. Arlovsk"  event, emanating from Rotterdam, Netherlands today (Sun., May 8, 2016), is all wrapped up, which means it's now time to honor those who gave a little bit extra inside the Octagon.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) doled out its customary post-fight performance bonuses to four of the 26 fighters on the evening's card. There was no "Fight of the Night" bonus winner, with four fighters taking home "Performance of the Night" awards instead.

Among those who went home with an extra $50,000 check was Alistair Overeem, following his second-round knockout of Andrei Arlovski (see it again here).

Stefan Struve also walked away with a big bonus for his 16-second knockout over Antonio Silva (video replay here). rounding out the "Performance of the Night" award winners were Gunnar Nelson and Germaine de Randamie.

Again, each fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which we will pass along as soon as possible if that information is made available.
