Gunnar Nelson is back in the win column.
After meeting his superior in the ground game in the form of Demian Maia in his previous bout, "Gunni" showed the fight game why he is one of the most dangerous submission fighters in all of mixed martial arts (MMA).

The Icelandic-born fighter took it to Albert Tumenov during their Welterweight bout at UFC Fight Night 87: "Overeem vs. Arlovski" in Rotterdam, Netherlands. But, in the second frame, Gunnar went to his bread-and-butter, taking the Russian down and sinking in a fight-ending rear-naked choke.
While the win was an important one for Nelson, the loss was equally as demoralizing for Tumenov, who saw his five-fight win streak at 170-pounds go out the window.
