Late injury shakes up UFC 'Rotterdam' Prelims

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was forced to make a last-minute switcheroo to its upcoming FOX Sports 1 line up, as a late injury to Nick Hein torpedoed his UFC Fight Night 87 bout against Jon Tuck inside Ahoy Rotterdam in Netherlands on Sun., May 8, 2016.

Josh Emmett to the rescue.

The Team Alpha Male lightweight has been on the promotion's radar for quite some time, thanks to a perfect 9-0 record with five finishes. Emmett is already in shape and on weight, as he was expected to compete at the WFC 17 event this weekend in Sacramento.

Now he's en route to the Netherlands.

UFC Fight Night 87 will be headlined by the heavyweight showdown pitting Alistair Overeem against Andrei Arlovski; however, this titanic tilt wasn't assembled just to see a couple of monsters stand and bang. The winner could move on to make a run at the 265-pound title.
