Bellator 154: "Davis vs. King Mo," which takes place at SAP Center in San Jose, Calif., on May 14, 2016, was originally scheduled to feature Jordan Parsons (11-2) versus undefeated fighter Adam Piccolotti (7-0) on the Spike TV main card.

That all changed on this past weekend when Parsons was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Delray Beach, Florida. The initial prognosis for Parsons' outcome was poor. A tweet from Ariel Helwani shows his situation is even more dire than initially reported.

As Parsons lays in a hospital bed fighting for his life, the Delray Beach Police Department is urging the public to come forward with any information about the suspect who ran him down.

There isn't much to go on at this moment except a damaged side mirror that was left on the crime scene.

Meanwhile, Parsons continues to fight for his life.

Hopefully, we'll have better news for you later this week ... stay tuned.
